This superior 3-star is located outside the city centre, close to Avignon's train station and a large shopping centre. Express By Holiday Inn Avignon in Avignon. It is reported to be very modern, spotless and comfortable and rated as excellent value for money by customers. ***LOCATION*** The hotel is conveniently located about 10-min walk from Avignon's TGV train station. The town centre is too far away to walk (4 km), but it is a quick and straightforward drive on the ring road. There is also a good bus service to the town centre, which can be reached in 30 minutes. ***EXTERIOR*** The property is a contemporary 3-storey building set in the midst of a garden, bordering a roundabout. It has a white facade and red-tiled roof. ***LOBBY & INTERIOR*** The lobby is bright and welcoming. It is open plan with the sitting space and the breakfast area. Large full-length windows bring in a lot of light. ***ROOMS*** Rooms are medium in size. They are in excellent conditions and are equipped with all the modern amenities. The decor is contemporary, with bright-coloured curtains and bedspreads, wooden panels on the walls, and nice paintings. Bathrooms are modern and spotless. ***RESTAURANTS & BARS*** There is bar within the hotel, but no restaurant. There is however a grill restaurant within short walking distance of the hotel, and plenty to choose from in Avignon city centre. A continental buffet breakfast is served weekdays from 7.00 to 10.00 am, and week ends from 7.00 to 11.00 am.
