The new Messeturm Basel tower was built in the city centre of Basel, right on site of the Messe Schweiz fairgrounds. Ramada Plaza in BASEL. 105 metres high and with 31 floors, it is the highest inhabitable building of all Switzerland and a new landmark of Basel. The 230 hotel rooms of Sorat Hotel Messeturm Basel were installed on the 5th to 14th floors; the conference centre and restaurant are on the third floor.The Filou Restaurant is hovering above Messeplatz Square like a glass balcony. Even nicer than looking in from the outside is to be looking out from the inside: you will see into the green chestnut trees of a little park, and across all Messeplatz trade fair square.
